about
In 2010, there was a traffic jam on the China National Highway 110 that lasted in excess of twelve days. Traffic was moving at approx. 1km per day. A mini economy was formed with vendors selling overpriced water and ramen to those stuck in the traffic. There is a rumour that deaths resulted from the traffic jam. This song is about someone trapped in a car in the middle of this traffic jam, and the headspace they are in... as they consider their mortality, while trapped on a motorway somewhere on the Beijing - Tibet Expressway in Hebei and Inner Mongolia.
